Beaumont Blues Festival 2010
This annual festival will be held on September 4 and 5, 2010 at the B.A.D.A.S. Fairgrounds. Headliners include: Boogie Patrol, Gordie Johnson on Saturday and Paul Pigat and Amos Garrett on Sunday. New for 2010 will be the Youth at the Blues on Friday, Sept 3 from 5 – 11 pm. Tickets are available at www.ticketmasters.ca or the Town Office in Beaumont. S&D Aquatic Centre
Beaumont´s 40,000 sq. ft aquatic and fitness centre is a state-of-the-art facility with all the expected bells and whistles. The centre includes two saltwater pools, a hot tub, sauna, waterslide, steam room, dance studio, and a 10,000 sq. ft fitness centre. Commercial Real Estate Rises
The Canadian commercial real estates saw a sharp rise in the first half of 2010. Values of the deals soared by 60% as signs of recovery gained strength. CB Richard Ellis said in its Midyear National Investment Report that there were $7.8-billion of deals done from January to June, compared to $4.9-billion during the same period in 2009.
