GROWTH
Beaumont is a youthful, emerging community that has seen significant growth in population and development, both residential and commercially. The Town experienced population growth rates as high as 38% in the 1978 to 1984 period. For example, the rate for the years 2006-2008 has been at 21 percent. Current population is well above 11,500 and continues it's favorable growth pattern despite the recession setback caused during 2008-2009.
